Born and raised in rural Nebraska, Rita Vaughn is a lifelong entrepreneur with a passion for empowering others to achieve financial freedom through real estate. With over 18 years of hands-on experience in every facet of real estate investing—from fix and flips to rentals—Rita has built a reputation not only for her expertise, but also for her willingness to share the lessons she’s learned, both the wins and the challenges.

Rita’s journey into connecting investors with private money lenders began organically. After countless conversations with aspiring investors who were excited to pursue their first rehab property, she realized that funding was often the one missing piece standing between them and their dreams. From that realization, Creative Investment Funding was born—a company dedicated to helping investors secure capital and build wealth, regardless of their background, experience, or credit.

Her entrepreneurial roots run deep. At just 21 years old, Rita purchased and managed a full-service salon, leading a team of employees and learning early on what it meant to take risks and lead with vision. She went on to successfully run two more retail businesses in Denver, Colorado, before discovering the unmatched flexibility and potential of real estate investing in beautiful sunny Florida.

Rita was deeply inspired by her father, a business owner himself, who taught her the importance of stepping outside the box, taking bold leaps of faith, and leading with honesty and integrity—even when it means standing apart from the crowd.
